Encrypt before uploading
Authorize before previewing
Cipherto uses AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption. The business database stores neither original plaintext files nor a table of AES keys and initialization vectors. Only after passing authorization can recipients decrypt the content in browser memory for that preview.
